This photo was taken on Friday, when these little guys were six days old. Stephan found and removed one dead baby, but the rest of them seem quite active. They are climbing on each other, cuddling and nuzzling each other, and stretching out in blissful naps. Their eyes aren’t open yet, but they have fur now. We’ve decided that black fur (like their mother has) must be a recessive trait; no bunnies from the last litter were black, and I don’t see a black one in this litter, either. I’m not entirely sure how many there are, but I think there are at least six.
Another week or so and they will really be cuties!
