Going Great Guns in the Garden

Posted on

We’ve already harvested nearly two and a half pounds of produce from our garden this year.  And more and more is coming up.

Kentucky Wonder beans, which Chef just planted a week ago.  Chef says that by next week, he’ll probably be able to climb the stalk and kill the giant and get the goose that lays the golden eggs.

Cool.

Tomatoes!

Tomatoes!

Tomatoes!

(I’m a little excited about the tomatoes.)

Squash.

And more peas (Chef planted several kinds.)

Yum!

About Karen Koch

I like the old-fashioned lifestyle. All this new-fangled stuff baffles me sometimes. I cherish living out in the country, raising chickens and rabbits, planting fruit trees, and enjoying a slow life filled with beautiful words and ideas. I don't always achieve a slow life. I teach middle school English and manage a little burgeoning farm with my husband, and somewhere in the midst of that, I try to find time for writing, running, knitting, reading, and playing the ukulele. And sometimes, I actually succeed.
